Before you contact us by phone or email please do take the time to read these frequently asked questions. Failure to do so may reduce our response time getting back to you. It is important to remember that we are only one shop in Exeter and we receive hundreds of emails and phone calls every month and our first priority will go to those people we feel are serious about purchasing our products. We do not mean to offend and hope you accept this in the spirit it is intended.

  • 1. Can I order online?
    Yes but only for sale items and items in our E-Commerce section. Other items – outfits, bridal gowns, and bridesmaid – you can order via email or telephone once we have discussed your precise size and delivery requirements.
  • 2. Can I pay in foreign currency e.g. Euro, US$?
    Yes – by Bank Transfer, Bank draft or credit card
  • 3. I cannot access prices online!
    Unfortunately because of competitors we do not publish prices for many items online, nor do we email prices. Please supply a phone number to be given prices. This is because of competitor snooping.
  • 4. Do you supply Ireland/USA/New Zealand/Australia/Canada/Middle East etc etc
    Yes and goods are despatched by registered and insured delivery service.
  • 5. What is your returns policy?
    Goods are returnable if they were faulty at the time of our despatch. You have 3 days from receipt of goods to notify us in writing that the goods are not suitable, damaged or faulty. You then must despatch them with 7 days of receiving them – proof will be required. Returns are sent at your expense, and your must ensure they are sent insured and registered and with a valid tracking number. For overseas please change to 5 days from receipt and 30 for dispatch.
  • 6. What are the delivery costs?
    To USA/Australia/New Zealand/South Africa – approximate £50 per outfit, sent registered, insured and tracked. We use either Royal Mail or Parcel Force.

  • 8. Do you have any more stores anywhere within the UK or in other countries?
    I am sorry but we do not. However we do have people visiting our shop from all over the UK, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Jersey, Guernsey, Spain, and France. If you are intending to stay in Exeter please email/call us and we will be only to happy to recommend places to stay.
  • 9. Can I buy without Value Added Tax?
    Yes if the delivery dress is outside the European Union.
  • 10. How much do I save if I am exempt Value Added Tax?
    At current rates, deducting VAT is equivalent to a 16.7% discount from our normal retail prices.
  • 11. Are your sizes in UK, USA or Metric?
    The norm is UK, if you are quoting any size you must make it clear what scale your size is in.
  • 12. Can I buy in different colours from that which appears on the Website?
    In certain categories especially the bridesmaid dresses and prom dresses there are a variety of colours available so do please ask for details.
  • 13. Can I have a catalogue of your outfits and dresses?
    Sorry because of the changing nature of our products we do not publish catalogues.
